In the first quarter of 2024, cat-themed gaming apps have shown varied performance in terms of downloads and user engagement on the Android platform in the United States. Here's a snapshot of how these feline-centric games fared, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

My Talking Tom 2 started the quarter with a peak of 76K downloads in the first week of January, gradually decreasing to 51K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, dipping from 560K to 505K in the same period. Revenue saw a mid-quarter spike, reaching 815K in mid-February, but concluded the quarter at a lower 489K.

My Talking Angela 2 experienced a fluctuating download count, peaking at 70K in early January and rising again to 57K towards the quarter's end. Active users showed a slight recovery from 208K in mid-January to 214K in late March. Revenue trends saw a high of 850K in mid-January, dropping to 413K by March's close.

The sibling app, My Talking Tom Friends, had a revenue trajectory that began at 2.6M and reached a peak of 3.7M in mid-February, before closing the quarter at 2.7M. Downloads saw highs and lows, starting at 58K and ending at 46K, while weekly active users decreased from 494K to 458K.

Lastly, Cat Choices: Virtual Pet 3D, despite having no recorded revenue, saw a peak in downloads at 39K in mid-February, dropping to 18K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users, however, showed a steady increase from 160K to 243K, indicating growing engagement with the app.
